Kuper Type 1210 veneer splicing thread is used in facilities processing natural and engineered fine-line veneers. It is essential for splicing veneer layons used in the production of cabinet furniture, doors, wall and ceiling panels, and various decorative elements.
Characteristics of Kuper 1210 thermal thread:
- Eco-safety. The veneer splicing thread contains no harmful substances. This safe material is used in the manufacture of furniture for residential and public spaces;
- Strong bond. The melted thread penetrates the wood grain structure, reliably bonding the edges of the sheets. The glue thread retains its elasticity and performance characteristics under fluctuating humidity and temperature;
- Neat joint. Engineered by a German manufacturer, it produces a virtually invisible seam. The seamless joint enhances the aesthetic appeal of veneered surfaces.
1210 glue thread is used on Kuper FW 1150/1700 and KUPER FW/J 920 veneer splicing machines. Electrically heated machines warm the thread to temperatures above 190°C. The prepared material is applied in a zigzag pattern across the edges of two veneer sheets. The surfaces are then firmly pressed together and cooled using a specialized cold roller. The resulting veneer layon is ready for pressing onto MDF, chipboard, and plywood.
