Kleiberit waterproof wood adhesive is a high-quality formulation that lets workshops handle jobs of any level of complexity. This German-made joinery adhesive is used for:
- bonding edge banding of every kind: natural veneer, melamine, paper, ABS/PVC;
- laying natural veneer onto MDF, particle board and plywood panels;

- D3 wood adhesive withstands raised humidity and gives a reliable bond. Formulations in this class are widely used in the manufacture of cabinet and upholstered furniture, as well as other household items.
- D4 waterproof adhesive offers not only moisture resistance but heat resistance too. This wood adhesive is used for interior and exterior work. It bonds structural parts in bathrooms, kitchens, on verandas, terraces and in garden pavilions.

Kleiberit: an expert in joinery adhesive manufacture
Kleiberit was founded in 1948. Kleiberit wood adhesive: where it is used
Joinery adhesive holds a special place in the German manufacturer’s product portfolio. Its specialists’ developments are used for:
- Bonding edge banding. To fix edging on furniture and other items used in living rooms, PO, EVA or PUR hot-melt adhesives are offered. Such materials give a reliable bond. Edging applied in a kitchen or a bathroom calls for PUR formulations that resist raised humidity. These wood adhesives are both heat- and moisture-resistant, comply with standard 2002/72/EG and are safe for contact with food.
- Making doors. Door leaf manufacture uses joinery adhesives for face lamination, three-dimensional pressing and solid timber bonding.
- Parquet production. Floor coverings are made with adhesive formulations that resist ageing, temperature swings and moisture.
- Bonding load-bearing structural members. Kleiberit waterproof adhesive is also used to join the timber members of load-bearing structures in construction. The material delivers not only a strong bond but a light-coloured glue line.

D3 waterproof adhesive is also used to join hardwood and exotic species, and for veneering and edge banding. |
| D4 waterproof wood adhesive | The D4 marking indicates the highest level of moisture resistance. Such materials are intended for exterior and interior work. D4 waterproof wood adhesive contains components that give it resistance to raised temperatures. Depending on the type, the formulation can be used to bond solid timber, wood-based panels, ceramic, stone, concrete, stainless steel and aluminium. The German manufacturer’s product is used as an adhesive in the making of doors, window sills, partitions and stairs. D4 adhesive is used when fitting door and window frames, thresholds and skirting boards, and when facing façades. |
