Kuper Type 1110 thermal glue thread is used in industrial veneer processing facilities. It is essential for assembling veneer layons of varying complexity in the production of door leaves, cabinet furniture fronts, wall and ceiling panels, and decorative woodwork.
Kuper 1110 glue thread provides:
- Strong, reliable bonding. The melted adhesive thread penetrates the wood grain structure, creating a strong, secure joint between veneer edges. Securely bonded facings on MDF, plywood, or chipboard retain their premium look and performance even under fluctuating humidity over long periods;
- Virtually invisible seams and grain matching. A neat seam enhances the aesthetic appearance of veneered surfaces;
- Ease of use. The veneer splicing process with thermal thread is simple and straightforward, requiring dedicated equipment.
This thermal thread is designed for Kuper FWS 1250 and 920 veneer splicing machines. Electrically heated equipment warms the material to temperatures from 168°C. The prepared thread is applied in a zigzag pattern across the seam of two veneer sheets. The surfaces are pressed firmly together and then cooled with a cold roller.
