Kuper type K12 veneer glue thread is used by manufacturers working with fine-line and natural veneer. This medium-thickness adhesive thread is used to assemble veneer layons for cabinet furniture, doors, wall and ceiling panels, and decorative items.
Features of Kuper K12 glue thread
:
- Eco-friendliness. The glue thread contains no harmful substances. It is used in crafting wardrobes, tables, stands, shelves, and other furniture for residential and public spaces;
- Strong bond. The melted thread penetrates wood fibers and reliably joins the edges of veneer sheets. The glue thread remains flexible despite fluctuating humidity and temperature levels;
- Neat seam. The veneer splicing thread enables craftsmen to achieve a virtually invisible seam. The veneer layon shows no visible joints or buildup, enhancing the overall aesthetics of veneered products.
K12 glue thread is designed for use with compact Kuper HFZ/4 veneer splicing machines. The hot-air equipment heats the fiberglass-based material to the required temperature. The prepared thread is applied in a zigzag pattern across the edges of two veneer sheets. The surfaces are firmly pressed together and cooled using a specialized cold roller. The resulting veneer layon is ready for bonding onto MDF, chipboard, and plywood sheets.
