MDF frame profile: what is it?
An MDF profile is a structural component manufactured from high-grade medium-density fiberboard. After cutting, frame profiles undergo milling. The surface is shaped at the desired angle, and the piece is machined with grooves for secure and easy assembly. The profile’s designation depends on the groove type.
To enhance the aesthetic appeal of the blank, the profile surface is veneered. Slicing natural ash, oak, or alder veneer onto the profile elevates its decorative quality and allows the component to integrate seamlessly into the overall structure.
