Brown perforated gummed tape is used for assembling veneer faces (veneer matching) from darker wood species. The material is made of durable gummed paper coated with water-activated glue on one side. Perforated veneer jointing tape makes it possible to join delicate and thin veneer sheets. The perforations allow the craftsman to monitor the seam alignment and make adjustments as needed.
Gummed veneer splicing tape:
- firmly secures sheet edges. Gummed tape ensures high-quality splicing of veneer leaves, keeping the facing securely adhered to MDF, chipboard, and plywood;
- protects edges. The adhesive tape not only joins the edges but also prevents the veneer sheet from splitting;
- suitable for various wood species. Perforated brown gummed tape is typically used for splicing darker woods;
- easy to work with. Perforations allow you to visually monitor the jointing process, and the paper tape can be easily sanded off or removed to fix imperfections;
- environmentally safe. Made from high-grade materials compliant with ecological standards, this veneering consumable releases no harmful emissions and is safe for humans and pets.
Moisten the perforated tape with a damp sponge before application.
