Poplar Plywood: Lightweight Sheets, 6–15 mm
Poplar plywood is noticeably lighter than birch and easy to machine — it cuts, drills, and paints without chipping. The soft, even surface takes enamel and lacquer to a uniform tone.

Typical uses
Light furniture and drawers, door infills, toys and scale models, laser cutting and CNC work, exhibition builds. Poplar is softer than birch, so for loaded work surfaces choose birch sheets instead.
